Yankees torch Cole Hamels after skipped start

After skipping his previous start due to a mild calf strain, Cole Hamels was forced out of the game against the Yankees after surrendering 5 runs over 5 frames. The Yankees managed to do their damage on 8 hits and 3 walks.
Fantasy Impact:
Cole Hamels certainly did not have hist best stuff against a Yankees offense that has been capable of making pitchers pay this year. The 11 base-runners allowed may be more important then the runs though as it marks the second time in 3 starts in which he has allowed double digit base-runners without escaping the 6th inning. Chalk this up to having his routine thrown off due to the calf strain, but it will certainly be worth keeping an eye on him in his next start to see if he can regain his composure.
