Alex Bregman underwent x-rays that confirmed he suffered a broken left index finger during game 6 of the World Series. He will be ready for Spring Training next season. (Brian McTaggart on Twitter)
Bregman doesn't need surgery but will need 8 weeks to fully recover. This shouldn't have much impact on his 2023 season, and he should be ready to go for the start of Spring Training if all goes well. He had a nice bounce-back season in 2022 with a .358 wOBA and 136 wRC+.
