Tommy Pham's mutual option has been declined by the Red Sox. He will be a free agent. (Julian McWilliams on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Pham will receive a $1.5 million buyout. Pham is coming a season as a below-average hitter (89 wRC+) to go along with a .236/.312/.374 slash line between both the Red Sox and Reds. The 34-year-old will likely sign a short-term deal as a reserve outfielder for 2023.
