Chris Sale matches consecutive double-digit strikeout record

Chris Sale was dominant again on Tuesday as he matches the record for consecutive starts with at least 10 strikeouts. Sale has reached double-digit strikeouts in his last eight games. He will try to break that record in his next start. Sale also pitched another quality start. He let up one run in 8.0 innings and struckout 12 batters. To top it all off, Sale recorded his first career hit and run as the White Sox won 2-1 in extra innings.

Fantasy Impact:

Chris Sale is having another stellar season. He now has a 2.87 ERA with a WHIP of 0.97. Sale is one of the best pitchers in the game today. It is unfortunate the White Sox cannot give him run support. Over his last four starts, Sale is 0-2 with two no-decisions; getting only four runs of support. Sale should be starting in any format. His only downside is a weak White Sox offense who cannot help him secure more wins.
