Anthony Rizzo opts out of contract with Yankees

Fantasy Impact:
Rizzo had a $16 million player option for the 2023 season, but he has chosen to test the waters of free agency. In 2022, the veteran hit 32 home runs and drove in 75 RBI while boasting an OPS of .818. The first baseman has a solid bat that still has plenty of pop and will also contribute on the defensive side to whatever team decides to pick him up.
