Jaime Garcia has Thursday start pushed back

St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Jaime Garcia had his scheduled start Thursday against the San Diego Padres scratched because of a mild left groin strain, but he says he is hoping to pitch again next week against the Chicago Cubs and will avoid the disabled list for now. (Sports Illustrated )
Fantasy Impact:
Fantasy owners can breathe a little easy knowing that Garcia doesn't need a trip to the DL, right now. Garcia has ptiched great over his last few starts, so hopefully this injury doesn't slow down his momentum. If you're a Garcia owner, it isn't a bad idea to keep a backup plan just in case he needs a week or so of rest.
