Tim Hudson to the DL

Tim Hudson was placed on the disabled list today, and Jake Peavy called up from Sacramento, Hudson has been a hot and cold starter this season, and has been having problems dealing with a right shoulder strain. This move allowed the room for Peavy to rejoin the club.
Fantasy Impact:
Hudson has a 5-7 record on the season with a 4.68 ERA. He has just 49 strikeouts in 92.1 innings. Hudson being 39-years old, and will be 40 on July 14th, has had a solid career, but at this time, he should not be considered more than a streaming pitcher or a very deep leaguer.
