The Chicago Cubs and Jameson Taillon have come to an agreement on a four-year $68 million deal. (Jesse Rogers on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

The Mets, Phillies and Orioles were all reported to be in on Taillon, but the reports on Tuesday suggested the Cubs were the favorite to land him and that's what happened. Drew Smyly opted out of his contract with the Cubs in November, so Taillon should take his spot in the starting rotation. He is coming off a solid season with the Yankees posting a 3.91 ERA across 32 starts.
