Cardinals place Jaime Garcia on DL

Fantasy Impact:
Prior to hitting the DL, Garcia missed his previously scheduled start due to the groin ailment. It's a tough blow for the Cardinals and fantasy owners alike, as Garcia was 3-3 with a 1.69 ERA in seven starts this season.Left-hander Tim Cooney will make Garcia's next scheduled start.
