Justin Turner, Red Sox in agreement on 2-year contract

by Kelly Kirby | Blue Jays Correspondent | Sun, Dec 18th 6:02pm EST

Justin Turner and the Red Sox are in agreement on a 2-year contract worth almost $22 million, including an opt-out after the first year. (Joon Lee on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Turner has played for the Dodgers for the last nine years, tallying 156 HR, 574 RBI, and slashing .289/.366/.466. Boston will presumably move the 38-year-old to first base, with Rafael Devers occupying third. Health has been a concern for him, appearing in only 128 games in 2022, so he will also spend time at DH. He has a current ADP of 346 in NFBC leagues and some value in deeper leagues.
