John Axford blows save

John Axford entered a tied game on Wednesday against the Angels, but when he left the game they were no longer tied. Axford was charged with the loss as he allowed the go-ahead run.
Fantasy Impact:
Axford was roughed up by the Angels in this one and he seems to be cooling off since he was virtually unhittable for the first few months of the season. His ERA has now climbed to 2.55 and this was his second loss of the season. Axford is best used as a low-end number one closer at this point and can be an option for release.
