Rafael Ortega signs minor-league deal with Yankees

Fantasy Impact:
Ortega burst onto the scene as a late-bloomer with the 2021 Cubs, hitting .291 with 11 homers, 12 stolen bases, and a 122 wRC+. The 31-year-old regressed last season, however, hitting .241 with seven homers, 12 steals, and a 96 wRC+ across 371 trips to the plate. He will compete for a depth role in the Yankees outfield in 2023.
