Miguel Cabrera receives injection in injured Calf

Detroit Tigers Manager Brad Ausmus acknowledged today that Cabrera received a platelet rich injection in his injured calf. The hope is that the Injection will help speed up the recovery time for Cabrera.
Fantasy Impact:
Ausmus stated that Cabrera is still expected to miss six weeks like what was previously reported. Replacing Cabrera on your fantasy roster is no easy task, however the first base position is as stacked as ever this year. Savvy owners should be able to weather the six week storm. We will update Cabreras status as more information becomes available.
