Asdrubal Cabrera

Asdrubal Cabrera a candidate to be traded?

Due to the Rays recent struggles, the Rays could decide to trade Asdrubal Cabrera at the trade deadline, in an attempt to accrue some value.

Fantasy Impact:

The Rays have lost 15 of their last 18 games, have had their record drop below .500 (43-45), and are now 4.5 games back of the Yankees in the AL East. The Rays signed Cabrera to a 1-year, 7.5 million dollar deal in the offseason, and has been mediocre at best. The veteran short stop while playing solid defense, currently has a .222/.275/.350 line with five home runs, 28 runs scored, 22 RBI, with 3 stolen bases in 2015. The 71/20 K/BB ratio is also alarming, and teams that are interested surely won't give much to acquire him. Especially since he's a free agent at the end of the season. Regardless of where he goes, he's best left on waiver wires.
