Felix Hernandez allowed no runs on five hits in seven innings against the Angels on Thursday. He had two walks and six strikeouts in the outing.
Fantasy Impact:
The King earned his 11th win of the season, tied for second in MLB, and looked every bit like a Cy Young winner. Hernandez saw his ERA drop below 3.00 for the first time in a month, now sitting at 2.84, and the strikeouts continue to be solid (8.59 K/9). He has some ground to make up in the second half if he wants another Cy Young though, as Keuchel (HOU), Gray (OAK), and Price (DET) all have better numbers overall.
