Fantasy Impact:
Cruz had a down year in 2022, having a wRC+ below 100 (85) for the first time since 2007. He'll likely platoon in the DH spot with Matt Carpenter, but there is potential for Cruz to be a valuable fantasy player if he can return to form in the powerful Padres lineup.
