Adam Jones gets an RBI in the win

by James McGowan | Fri, Jul 10th 10:45pm EDT

On Friday, the Baltimore Orioles beat the Washington Nationals 3-2. The Orioles were able to come back into the game and help gain some ground in the AL East. Adam Jones went 1-4, with a hit, and an RBI to help the O's win.

Fantasy Impact:

Jones has started to find himself since coming back from his injury, he has started to produce more every game and is getting back to all-star form. Jones has been a huge part of the offensive surge for the Orioles and has helped the get back into the hunt for first place. Jones this year is hitting .283, with 11 home runs, 41 RBI, three stolen bases, and an OPS of .801. Jones has been very good for the Orioles, but has struggled to stay healthy for them. Jones would bring a big bat to any team that is looking to bolster their offense as the second half starts, and if he gets hot he will start to get very consistent for the Orioles. The Oriole will look to keep up their winning ways on Saturday against the Nationals.
