Pablo Lopez has been traded to the Minnesota Twins for Luiz Arraez. More players are expected to be included in the trade. (Jeff Passan on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The Twins have been searching for starting pitching since the trade deadline of last year and will look to Lopez to be a fixture at the top of their rotation. The 26-year-old had a slightly down 2022 season compared to 2021, but still held a 3.75 ERA and 8.7 K/9 in over 180 innings. He will benefit from a much weaker division as well and could be a nice value pick in upcoming drafts.
