Thoracic outlet syndrome surgery is a wildly unpredictable procedure when it comes to a given player's recovery. The Nationals' Stephen Strasburg's status is unclear as ever after undergoing the procedure last season but it's fairly rare among position players. In any regard, Walsh will be in search of a rebound season after hitting just .215 with a .643 OPS in 2022 on the heels of a breakout 29-homer, .849 OPS performance across 144 games in the 2021 campaign.
