Maybin has posted his best offensive first half of his career batting .289 with 44 RBIs. "Maybin credits the benefit of listening to Braves hitting coach Kevin Seitzer before he was even traded to Atlanta, helping him become better at going to the opposite field." (Christina Kahrl, ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
Maybin is posting career-best walk and strikeout rates, as well as his best power numbers since 2011. He seems like a prime candidate to be flipped by the Braves before the trading deadline. Stay posted as a five-game losing streak leading into the break certainly will tip the scales in favor of trading Maybin.
