Kenley Jansen serves up home run in dreaded non-save situation

by Stan Son | Red Sox Correspondent | Sat, Jul 18th 7:06pm EDT

Kenley Jansen pitched the ninth inning of Saturday's game against the Washington Nationals. The dreaded non-save situation was not kind to Jansen as he allowed two hits, one being a two-run home run to Bryce Harper. He did strike out three though. 16-of-18 pitches were thrown for strikes.

Fantasy Impact:

No need to worry. Jansen always pounds the strike zone, so batters run into one every now and then. With the Dodgers up four runs, there was less priority to be fine with location. The non-save situation seems to always get the best of closers. He struck out three so have no fear.
