Fantasy Impact:
The Nats lock up the 24-year-old catcher and former top prospect. While his .251/.313/.360 slash line in 2022 was underwhelming, Ruiz still has promise as his expected batting average, K%, and Whiff% all ranked in the 90th percentile or higher. There is still a ton of potential in the young catcher that has the ability to provide a good source of batting average at the weakest position in fantasy baseball.
