Anthony Rizzo goes 2-for-8 in Wednesday doubleheader

Anthony Rizzo went 2-for-8 with two runs and a stolen base in the Cubs' split of a doubleheader against the Reds on Wednesday. He scored the winning run in the night game.

Fantasy Impact:

Rizzo is 5-for-29 since the All-Star break, and his OBP is down to .400 on the season. A stellar number to be sure, but the Cubs' stagnation on offense over the past month coincides with a rough stretch for Rizzo. The team's playoff chances, and their success if they reach the postseason, are very much reliant on his finding his early season form. It would be surprising if he doesn't pick it up soon, but he hasn't had a long career of success that makes such a rebound a guarantee.
