John Axford implodes; picks up the loss

John Axford entered Wednesday's game against the Rangers in the ninth inning to an 8-to-8 tie. He would not be able to get out of the inning as he only recorded two outs and gave up two runs on two hits and three walks.
Fantasy Impact:
Axford was charged with the loss in this one which brought his record to 2-3. Axford was nearly untouchable for awhile but he has come back to earth recently. His ERA has ballooned to 3.18 and he is no longer a sure thing as a closer.
