David Peterson loses five-inning game on Friday

by Scott Youngson | Mets Correspondent | Fri, Apr 28th 10:45pm EDT

David Peterson dropped to 1-4 after allowing four runs over five innings in Friday's rain-shortened five-inning loss to the Braves. Peterson struck out six but gave up five hits and a walk.

Fantasy Impact:

Peterson was pitching well, matching Max Fried frame by frame until the fifth inning. The big blow came from a three-run HR by Matt Olson. The last three starts have not gone well for Peterson, who now owns a 7.34 ERA and 1.57 WHIP. He's pretty much a streaming-only option for fantasy at this point, and he could get a start against Detroit next week, depending on how the Mets manage their rotation.
