Pedro Alvarez belts 14th home run in win

The Pirates used 12 hits, including three home runs to defeat the Nationals on Friday, 7-5. Pedro Alvarez got in on the act with his 14th home run of the season. He drove in two and is now batting .233 for the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Although Alvarez will never give much in terms of batting average and on-base percentage, he's on pace to hit 25 home runs. Owners not getting enough power production from their first baseman may want to consider Alvarez.
