Carlos Gonzalez had been hitting home runs at an impressive rate over his last few ball games but that would end on Tuesday. He went 0-for-4; striking out twice. He did reach base with a walk and came around to score.
Fantasy Impact:
Perhaps the trade rumors got to Gonzalez' head on this night. Over his last seven games he is slashing .467/.515/1.167 with seven home runs, 15 RBI, and 12 runs scored. Gonzalez should be utilized in daily lineups until he shows that he has completely cooled off from his recent hot hitting.
