Zack Greinke pitches eight innings to improve to 10-2 on the year

Zack Greinke pitched another gem over the Angels Friday night. He went eight innings and allowed two earned runs on five hits, walked one, and struck out eight. 68-of-108 pitches were thrown for strikes.

Fantasy Impact:

2015 Greinke eerily reminds me of 1988 Orel. They both had ridiculous scoreless-inning streaks, struck out a tad under a batter-per-inning, and both had ERAs almost a full run under their FIPs. Earlier in the year, I thought Greinke's ERA would regress, but he's in such a zone that a 1988 Orel-esque season may be in the works. Too bad his win total and complete game shutouts weren't on Orel's level, then Greinke would be the No.1 fantasy pitcher without a doubt.
