Fernando Rodney earns his fifth hold of the year

Fernando Rodney pitched the eighth inning with the Mariners leading 2-1 and struck out the side for an easy inning of work. The Mariners ultimately lost to the Twins 3-2 with a blown save in the ninth inning from Carson Smith.
Fantasy Impact:
Rodney has still struggled out of the Mariners bullpen since being removed of his closer duties, but he has managed to lower his ERA to an ugly 5.44. With Mariners closer Carson Smith not performing much better, the closer situation in Seattle is up in the air. Monitor Rodney's status within the coming weeks to see if he could regain his closer job to end 2015.
