Jason Kipnis could land on DL with shoulder issue

Jason Kipnis had an MRI on his shoulder this morning. Indians' manager Terry Francona said "It could be" a DL situation for Kipnis but he wants to talk things over the GM and medical staff. (Jordan Bastian on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The situation escalated quickly from yesterday's statement that it was "not a serious issue". More information regarding the injury will follow but at the moment, Lonnie Chisenhall will lead off and Mike Aviles will man second base. If Kipnis does miss extended time, look for Giovanny Urshela to also see some playing time at second base, increasing his fantasy value with dual-position eligibility.
