Carlos Gomez draws a walk in Wednesday loss
by James Ignatius Zeankowski | Thu, Aug 6th 6:08am EDT
Taking to center field again during Wednesday evening's 4-3 series sweeping loss to the Texas Rangers, Carlos Gomez went 0-for-4. He did draw a walk, but also tallied a pair of strikeouts, a pop out and a ground out collectively in the game. Gomez took a slight dip in his average to .265 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Gomez was noticeably trying too hard in this past outing. One may gather that his 100th career home run the previous day may have gotten to his head, if even a little bit. But the veteran outfielder is known to be better that this, as his career numbers show. Fantasy holders will want to still keep there eyes on Gomez for now.
