Ryan Howard knocks in two in loss

by Kerry Kauffman | Thu, Aug 6th 6:37pm EDT

The Phillies managed 13 hits in a wild one against the Dodgers on Thursday, but lost by the score of 10-8. Ryan Howard broke out of a two-game slump, going 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored. Howard raised his average to .238 for the season.

Fantasy Impact:

Howard struck out twice and continues to fan at a high rate. But he's knocking in runs and is still on pace to hit between 25 and 30 home runs. He's likely to get days off against the toughest lefties, but is still a decent power option at first base.
