Carlos Gomez draws a walk in Saturday loss

Making another start in center field during Saturday afternoon's 2-1 loss to the Oakland Athletics, Carlos Gomez went 0-for-3 with a drawn walk. He also tallied a fly out, a pop out, and a ground out collectively in the game. Gomez took a slight dip in his average down to .259 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
As exciting as it has been to see Gomez make the big plays that solidify the reasons for his acquisition, it has been just as equally frustrating to see him hit a dry spell. The career numbers on this veteran outfielder do, however, suggest that he should be able to break out of it pretty soon. Fantasy holders should still keep an eye on Gomez.
