Miguel Montero reaches base three times in return from injury

Miguel Montero looked healthy and ready to go with a 1-for-2 performance that featured one single and two walks. He drove in one run off of his single and also made it around the bases once to score.
Fantasy Impact:
It is still unclear what Montero's playing time will look like with Kyle Schwarber staying up, but do not be surprised if he plays a little less than when he was healthy. Schwarber will get his time in left field, but the Cubs are committed to letting him improve as a catcher and David Ross will continue to catch for Jon Lester, so expect Montero to catch three or four days a week. He has probably lost a little value in league play but he can still work as a value play when facing left handers.
