Chris Davis smashes 30th home run of the year

Chris Davis recorded two hits including his 30th home run of the year Monday night as the Orioles beat the Mariners 3-2. Davis began the night with a single to bring in Adam Jones. Later in the game he recorded his second RBI with a 405 foot solo home run to straight away center. Davis has 82 RBIs on the season and is batting .252.

Fantasy Impact:

Davis has now hit safely in eight straight games and is slowly increasing his average. Davis has been scorching the last week batting .381 with three home runs and seven RBIs. Davis is a great DFS play with his surging power. Fantasy users can continue to plug Davis in their lineup as a power option. Davis' source of value is via power, any increase in batting average is just an extra bonus for fantasy users.
