Jimmy Rollins batted 1-for-4 and scored a run against the Nationals on Tuesday. He has hit safely in 11 of 12 games since taking the lead-off role.
Fantasy Impact:
Both the Dodgers and fantasy owners have spent the last three weeks looking very smart for sticking with Rollins this long. Based on production and projections, Rollins should have been on fantasy waiver wires by the All-Star break and should have been replaced in real life by best-prospect-in-all-of-baseball Corey Seager as the Dodgers' shortstop. He's a strong play and borderline top 10 SS as long as he keeps this up.
