Two more home runs for Brandon Belt

San Francisco Giants 1B Brandon Belt hit his 16th and 17th home runs of the year in a 3-1 victory over the Houston Astros on Tuesday. Both home runs were solo shots off of Astros' starter Scott Kazmir.
Fantasy Impact:
Belt now has seven home runs in the month of August through 10 games. The only other hitter in major league baseball hitting home runs at this rate is Seattle Mariners' OF Nelson Cruz, as he also has seven home runs in August. Brandon Belt's average on the month is only .256, but if you need home runs in your daily or weekly fantasy lineup, Belt is your guy.
