Nelson Cruz likely to return to lineup Friday

The AL home run leader sat out Tuesday's game with tightness in his neck and was held out on Wednesday as a precaution. After Thursday's off day, Cruz says "it's much better already, I'll be playing Friday, for sure." (Tacoma News Tribune)
Fantasy Impact:
Cruz has historically faded late in the season and has come up on a number of hindering injuries. However, he has had a number of similar issues with his back and neck this season and returned after a few days with no seeming ill effects. If Cruz is in the Mariners lineup, he should be starting in yours.
