Carlos Gomez whiffs three times in Saturday loss

Keeping at center field during Saturday evening’s 4-2 extra innings loss to the Detroit Tigers, Carlos Gomez could not get a hit. He went 0-for-5 with whopping three strikeouts, a pop out, and a ground out in the game. Gomez took another hit at his average, down now to .251 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
The recent struggles of the veteran outfielder remain a mystery. The same could be said for a number of players in the lineup. However, as it relates to Gomez, he will need to take a better plate approach, or risk being benched. Speaking of which, fantasy holders, you may want to temporarily bench Gomez, if he is even still on your roster at all.
