Alex Gordon to begin rehab assignment

Kansas City Royals OF Alex Gordon told reporters that he expects to start a rehab assignment this weekend. Gordon has been on the DL since early July with a strained groin. (Andy McCullough on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Gordon was having another productive season prior to the injury. His ownership has dropped to 62% in ESPN leagues, so his availability is worth monitoring as he continues his recovery. He could be a cheap add for those in need of OF help.
