St. Louis Cardinals SP Adam Wainwright is closing in on resuming throwing from a mound. If he continues to progress, there's an outside chance that he rejoins the Cardinals this season. (St. Louis Post-Dispatch)
Fantasy Impact:
If Wainwright does become available, he'd likely return in a relief role. While he's unlikely to have much, if any, fantasy relevance this season, this is good news for dynasty and keeper league owners that are projecting Wainwright for 2016.
