The Reds fell to the Royals on Wednesday by the score of 4-3. Brandon Phillips had a good game in the loss, going 2-for-3 with a home run, RBI and run scored. He's now batting .286 for the season.
Fantasy Impact:
The home run for Phillips was his ninth this season. His on-base percentage is a rather mediocre .323 and his OPS is at .707. While not the offensive player he was in his prime, Phillips is still a good option at second base for teams struggling at the position.
