Clay Buchholz yet to start throwing program

Buchholz (elbow) has not yet resumed throwing, Tim Britton of the Providence Journal reports. The right-hander received a favorable report after his follow-up visit with Dr. James Andrews last week, but has not yet received the green light to resume a throwing program. (Tim Britton on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
It does not look likely that Clay Buchholz will return this season. Boston has no real reason to rush him back and would be better off to give that starts to the young guys and have Buchholz come back fresh next year.
