Matt Garza was hit hard by the Nationals on Sunday afternoon in D.C. He threw four and two-thirds innings of eight hit, seven run ball. He walked six and struck out seven batters.
Fantasy Impact:
Garza earned his 14th loss of the season in the blow up. It was his fifth straight game in which he's allowed a home run and he's given up 22 on the season. The Brewers still hope they can move Garza to a contender desperate for some late season pitching, but Sunday's effort will make that a bit harder.
