Ryan Vogelsong follows up gem with early exit

San Francisco Giants right-hander Ryan Vogelsong followed up a six inning shutout last outing with a 3 1/3 inning struggle on Sunday in a 5-2 loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates. He gave up three runs (all in the first inning), seven hits, four walks and struck out two.
Fantasy Impact:
Ryan Vogelsong spent some time in the bullpen for the Giants before he was placed back in the rotation when Mike Leake was sent to the DL. Since his return to the rotation, Vogelsong is 2-2 with a 3.48 ERA and has been mildly inconsistent. If Vogelsong makes another start for the Giants be cautious in choosing him for your starting lineup as he has lasted four innings or less in two of his last four outings.
