Matt Cain take the hill in a must win game

by Michael Valverde | Tue, Aug 25th 9:56pm EDT

The San Francisco Giants finished their road trip at 2-5, and now face another playoff caliber team in the Chicago Cubs. This could be one of the most important game for the Giants thus far into the season. Matt Cain is the one responsible in getting Francisco going on the right foot at home. Matt Cain (2-3, 5.66) allowed five runs in a season-low four innings Aug. 8 in an 8-6 loss in Chicago but pitched well Wednesday. The right-hander yielded two runs in six innings in St. Louis.

Fantasy Impact:

This will be a good sign for Matty Cain if he can roll off the momentum he had in St. Louis. I still would be cautious in picking him up if available, and that goes for starting him, even though he makes a good streamer in San Francisco.
