Pedro Alvarez hits winning home run

Pedro Alvarez hit his 21st home run of the season last night off Miami pitcher, Justin Nicolino. It proved to be the winner as Pittsburgh held on for a 2-1 win. The victory ended Gerrit Cole's winless drought as he won his 15th game.
Fantasy Impact:
Pedro Alvarez continues to hit the ball hard. It is interesting that out of the 21 home runs hit, this was Alvarez's 18th solo shot. Fantasy owners would love to see this power utilized in situations when men are on base. Still, I would recommend keeping Alvarez in your lineup.
