Holding at center field during Monday evening's 8-3 victory over the Seattle Mariners, Carlos Gomez went 1-for-4 with a RBI single. He also tallied a whopping three fly outs in the game. Gomez has held his average steady at .248 on the season.
Fantasy Impact:
It seems as though the more Gomez tries to swing for the fences, the more results go against his favor. The veteran outfielder most assuredly needs to learn more small ball for the coming stretch. The RBI single helps, but it's not quite enough. Fantasy holders can make there own call when it comes to Gomez.
