Alex Gordon on the fast track to return to the Royals

Alex Gordon has been playing in Triple-A Omaha and rehabilitating for a return to the Royals within the week. The Royals are 31-17 without Gordon, but the All-Star's bat will improve the Royals' chances at repeating as AL Champions in 2015. (Kansas City Star)
Fantasy Impact:
Gordon had a .279 batting average and 24 extra-base hits in 79 games before getting injured and will slide right back into the top half of the Royals' lineup. His .852 OPS to open the season put him on pace for his second-best season of his career and his addition will boost fantasy teams as well as the Royals.
