Glen Perkins sees strong first half performance dip in second half

Glen Perkins had a 3.68 ERA in August, but only had two save opportunities and was 2-1 for the month. Perkins allowed batters to hit .333 and now has allowed left-handers a .894 OPS for the season. (ESPN)
Fantasy Impact:
Perkins had a 1.21 ERA and 28 saves in the first half and now is 2-3 with a 6.75 ERA and three saves in the second half. He has blown his first two saves of the season in the second half and has a .364 opponent's batting average. Although he did not have many opportunities in August, Perkins needs to pick up the pace in September to regain top-10 RP value.
